All the questions of this paper are subjective type. The total no. of questions in this paper is 14. All the questions are compulsory in this paper. The no. of marks contained by each question is indicated on the right margin of the paper. There is word limit for each question of the paper. There is one question on passage type. There are some questions based on phrases and simile. There are also some questions which are from the literature book. The total marks for this paper is 50 and the time duration in which candidates are required to solve this paper is of three hours.

Instructions for the paper and its pattern
All the questions contained in the paper are compulsory. There are total of twenty two questions in the paper. The first six questions are short questions and should be written in not more than thirty words. The next six questions are to be answered in fifty words. Questions from 13 to 17 are to be answered in not more than seventy five and the last five questions are long answer questions which should not exceed 120 words. There are no sectional divisions in this paper.Since all the twenty two questions are compulsory, there may be internal choices in the questions.
Distribution of Marks
The craft and hygiene paper is of seventy five. The first six questions are short questions of two marks each. The next six questions are of three marks. Question no 12 to 17 are of four marks each followed by the last five questions carrying five marks respectively.

Pattern of the Paper
The paper consists of 22 questions out of which all are compulsory. The paper lacks section but still it has been divided into groups depending on the marks and the word limit. The first type of question ranges from 1 to 6 which are to be answered in not more than 30 words. Second type of question ranges from 7 to 12 and word limit for these questions is 50 words. Questions 13 to 17 are to be written in 75 words and questions 18 to 22 in about 120 words.
Marks for different questions in different Sections
Marks ranges from 2 to 5. First section of question carries 2 marks, 2nd section carries 3 marks, 3rd section carries 4 marks and 5th section carries 5 marks. Maximum marks for this paper is 75.
Student is allowed to write the examination maximum for 3 hours.

Pattern of the paper:
The test is divided into four types of questions. The first four questions have to be written in 25 words, next four in 50 words and the next 5 in 75 words and the rest two questions in about 150 words.

The paper has a unique pattern with word limits in each question.
• The first six questions are of two marks each and are to written in about 30 words.
• The next six questions are of 3 marks each and are to be written in about 50 words.

Some key facts to remember
There are no direct questions in the paper but some of the questions come up with some internal options. The test does not have direct objective questions but the questions are to be written direct and up to the point and thus three hours are more than enough to complete a 75 marks paper.

Pattern of the paper:
The question paper contains a total of 30 questions and all the question are required to answer by the candidates. Internal choices are also given for some questions.
The paper is given 3 hrs for completion.
The entire paper carries 100 marks in total. The paper comprised of questions carrying 2, 3, 4, 5&6 marks.
Number of questions:
A candidate has to answer a total of 30 questions.
All the questions are assigned specific word limit and a student should answer within that specific word limit. The question number from 1-10 should be written within the limit of 30 words. The from question number 11 to 18 should be written within 50 words. From question number 19 to 24, answer should not exceed 75 words. 25 to 28 must not exceed 125 words. And the last question i.e. 29 and 30 should be written within a maximum word limit of 150 words. Answers without any context to the question may give rise to deduction in marks. All the candidates should answer within the prescribed words limit.

Paper Pattern:The first section of the paper carries ten questions, out of which candidates have to answer all of them. Each of the questions in the section is very short answer type. The second section carries eight questions, out of which candidates have to answer any six. Each question in the section is Short answer type. The third section has three main questions, out of which candidates have to answer any two. Each of the questions is Essay Type. Candidates can answer the paper in either English or Hindi, as per the acclimatization of the candidate itself
The paper carries a maximum of sixty marks. The first section carries a maximum of twenty marks, with each of the question carrying two marks, the second section carries a maximum of twenty-four marks, with each of the question carrying four marks and the last section offers a maximum of sixteen marks, with each of the question carrying eight marks.

The time duration is three hours.

Students are required to write 22 questions in total. The marks assigned for each question is indicated at the end of each question. Candidates should write their answer in their own words and answer without having any context to the paper may be a reason of deduction in marks. A student is required to answer all the questions. There are some instructions given in the beginning of the paper which instructs the students about the word limit of each question e.g. Questions from 1 to 6 should be written within 30 words, from 7 to 12 in about 60 words, from 13 to 17 in about 75 words and question from 18 to 22 should be written within 120 words.
9) U.P Board Intermediate Computer Application Exam
The paper is broadly classified into three main sections, A, B and C. There are a total of 10 questions in the 01st section, and each is very short answer types, and all of them have to be attempted by the candidates. The 02nd section carries a maximum of 6 main questions, and candidates are expected to answer any 4. Each is short answer based, while the last section offers 3 Long or Essay answer types and candidates are instructed to attempt any 2. 10) U.P Board Intermediate, Home Management Nutrition Exam
U.P Board Intermediate Home Management Nutrition Paper is an important and easy paper of the intermediate level of UP board. The paper is of 75 marks only and the time in which all the answers is to be written is just 3 hours. There are all together 22 questions. However, every question is to be written in a particular word limit. Question number 1 to 6 is of 2 marks each and is to be written in a word limit of 30 words. Question number 7 to 12 is to be written in 50 words only and is of 3 marks each. Question number 13 to 17 is to be written in 75 words and the marks allotted for this section is 4 marks. The final set, question number 18 to 22 is of marks each and is to be written within 120 words. The total time duration given to the candidates for answering the paper is 3 hours only. 11) U.P Board Intermediate Crop Product and Horticulture Exam
The U.P Board Intermediate Crop Product & Horticulture paper is of high importance for the candidates, and is offered in three parts, by the board. The first section has very short answer based 10 questions, and candidates are strictly advised to attempt all, as all are compulsory in nature. The 2nd section has 8 short answer based questions; however candidates can attempt any 6. Each offers a maximum of 3 marks. The last section has a total of 3 main questions, but candidates have to attempt any 2. The Board has offered the paper in this pattern since several years. 12) U.P Board Intermediate Drawing & Painting Exam
The paper of Drawing and Painting is very essential in terms of marks, as it is very easy to attain high marks in this paper. The total mark in the paper is 60, and there are 3 different parts. Candidates are offered with a time span of 3 hours to answer all of the questions. There are 10 different very short answer based question in the first part, 8 in 2nd part, out of which candidates have to attempt any 6. The third has a maximum of 3 questions, and candidates have to answer any 2. There are different marks allotted to each of the part, but candidates have to attempt all 10 questions from 1st part. 13) U. P. Board Intermediate, Home Management and Nutrition Exam
The Home Management and Nutrition paper is a paper of 75 marks and the time duration in which it is to be solved is of three hours. The question paper is oriented in English and Hindi languages. There are total 22 questions in this paper. The questions carrying 2 marks each have a word limit of 30 words. The questions which carry 3 marks have a word limit of 50 words. Questions which carry 4 marks come with a word limit of 75 words. There is a word limit of 120 words for the questions which carry 5 marks. 14) Uttar Pradesh Board Intermediate Mathematics Exam
A maximum of hundred marks is assigned to the mathematics paper and the time duration is three hours as per the Uttar Pradesh state board. There are no parts in this paper. The initial questions carry two marks each, a total of ten questions which are easy and simple and has no choice. All the questions are necessary to attempt. The other few questions carry three marks. The next set of questions carries four marks. Ranging from two to six, the last few questions carry five marks and six marks each. With the increase in marks, the number of questions decreases. There are a total of thirty questions. All the questions are compulsory to attempt but there are few selected questions which have internal options, that is, few questions have two parts and the candidate is required to answer any one. 15) U.P Board Intermediate Agriculture Exam
The paper offers a maximum of sixty marks and has 3 hours as duration. There are three sections in the paper, called Section A, B and C. The first section carries 10 questions, all of which are compulsory to attempt. The second section carries 6 questions, and candidates can attempt any 4, out of 6. The third section has 3 main questions, and candidates have to answer any 2, out of 3.
