Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, preferably known as UP Board is set to announce the result for lakhs of students who appeared for their Board exams, this year. The results shall be available May 17 onwards.
UP Board Class 12 exams had begun on February 19 and concluded on March 23. The exams were held in two shifts:
Morning session (7:30 am to 10:45 am)
Noon session (2 pm to 5:15 pm)
The Board provides a meagre amount of Rs 7 per nine minutes to a teacher for evaluating intermediate answer copies and Rs 6 per seven minutes checking for high school copies. Contrary to this, CBSE and CICSE teachers analyse 25-20 copies in six hours for which they are paid Rs 20 and Rs 15 respectively. More staggering is the pay offered for conveyance and water. While CBSE teachers get Rs 100 per day for conveyance, UP Board teachers are stuck with Rs 10 per day. Reckoning the total time allotted to an answer, it is just 30 seconds which is too less for evaluation.
The results will be updated on the website, on declaration. Keep visiting for more updates.
